About the Role
A prestigious game lodge in Limpopo is seeking a young, energetic, and suitably qualified Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a lodge environment and enjoys problem‑solving, working outdoors, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
- Plumbing installations, maintenance, and emergency fixes
- Pump maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing
- Solar system monitoring, upkeep, and basic repairs
- General construction, building maintenance, and structural repairs
- Routine lodge maintenance across guest areas, staff village, and operational facilities
- Assisting with preventative maintenance planning
- Responding to urgent repair requests to ensure seamless lodge operations
Requirements
- Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical, Plumbing, Pumps, Solar, or Construction
- Practical experience in a lodge, hospitality, or remote environment (advantageous)
- Physically fit, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment
