What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a dynamic couple with a strong blend of operational expertise, people leadership, and a genuine passion for conservation‑focused tourism. The ideal pairing will bring:
3–5+ years’ senior leadership experience within luxury lodges, camps, or remote hospitality operations
Proven ability to manage multi‑department teams and uphold high service standards
Experience working outside South Africa or within cross‑cultural environments
Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust with diverse teams
A hands‑on, solutions‑driven management style suited to remote, logistically complex locations
A deep appreciation for nature, wildlife, and sustainable tourism practices
Role Overview
This couple will jointly oversee the smooth running of a flagship lodge operation, ensuring excellence across guest experience, staff development, operational systems, and conservation‑aligned hospitality standards. Responsibilities include:
Leading daily lodge operations with professionalism and consistency
Driving guest engagement, service excellence, and personalised hosting
Managing staff performance, training, and team culture
Overseeing stock control, procurement, and cost management
Maintaining property standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency
Supporting long‑term sustainability goals and community‑focused initiatives
