What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a dynamic couple with a strong blend of operational expertise, people leadership, and a genuine passion for conservation‑focused tourism. The ideal pairing will bring:
- 3–5+ years’ senior leadership experience within luxury lodges, camps, or remote hospitality operations
- Proven ability to manage multi‑department teams and uphold high service standards
- Experience working outside South Africa or within cross‑cultural environments
- Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust with diverse teams
- A hands‑on, solutions‑driven management style suited to remote, logistically complex locations
- A deep appreciation for nature, wildlife, and sustainable tourism practices
Role Overview
This couple will jointly oversee the smooth running of a flagship lodge operation, ensuring excellence across guest experience, staff development, operational systems, and conservation‑aligned hospitality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Leading daily lodge operations with professionalism and consistency
- Driving guest engagement, service excellence, and personalised hosting
- Managing staff performance, training, and team culture
- Overseeing stock control, procurement, and cost management
- Maintaining property standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency
- Supporting long‑term sustainability goals and community‑focused initiatives
