Position: Head Guide Namibia

Location: Namibia Salary: R20,000 Our client is seeking an experienced, confident, and inspirational Head Guide to lead our safari operations in a remote and pristine wilderness setting. This role is ideal for a passionate conservationist and natural leader who is committed to ethical guiding, team development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Important Information

  • This is a live-in position at a remote safari lodge
  • Accommodation and meals are provided while on duty
  • Roster cycles and leave structure will be discussed during the interview process
  • The role requires weekend, public holiday, and peak-season work

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support the guiding team to maintain high professional standards
  • Conduct engaging game drives and interpretive bush experiences
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, guiding, and operational regulations
  • Actively contribute to conservation initiatives and wildlife monitoring programs
  • Create memorable guest experiences through storytelling, education, and personalised engagement

Requirements

  • Fully qualified and registered Professional Guide (NQF Level 4 or higher)
  • FGASA qualification (Level 2 or higher preferred)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Trails Guide qualification
  • Rifle handling and/or dangerous game qualifications

Our client a 5* Lodge based in the Zambezi Region Namibia is seeking an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie (CDP) to support kitchen operations within a luxury, off-grid safari lodge environment. This role is ideal for a skilled chef who is passionate about quality, consistency, and working as part of a close-knit team in a remote setting.   Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated kitchen section during preparation and service
  • Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
